Mother's Day 2012

Okay..hi there!  Finally a minute(chuckle) to post my thoughts!  So Mother's Day has come and gone and it was fabulous!  I got to see most of my children, which is a great bonus because it is a rare occasion anymore for me to get to see, let alone spend time with, the older out-of-the-house children! So..the older kids have come to the spot where they feel like they want to buy me some gifts to show their love!  They have started working and feel it is their right to this since I have spent so many many MANY years giving to them on birthdays, Christmas, etc...I felt kind of weird at first, but then came to enjoy the thoughtful gifts that were given.  Jacqueline is my 17 year old and supporter of my pursuit into Buddhism.  She and her boyfriend Mike went all out with the organic body butter, Feng Shui CD and incense for making my life less complicated..haha.  Rachael, the daughter half of my 20 year old twins, gave me a wonderful lavender candle..very relaxing!  I also love the little homemade gifts from my Jerrod..those are actually the most precious, and I have collected quite the lot over the last 21 years and 7 children!  I do so love my kids..they are my life and my loves....I know that any mother who does read this can relate!  Enjoy the children while they are around..I never, ever dreamed that there would come a day when they would actually not be around, and I took the childhood of the older kids for granted and would love to revisit some of the times when I DID NOT have a minute..
